Hi, I’m Edgars Briska – an alternative health coach, with a twist.
My studies, work, and lived experience have taught me one core lesson: lasting well-being requires working with multiple layers of the human system at once.
The physical and vital layers form the foundation, which is why they are my primary focus. Across both integrative health circles and energy arts communities, there’s a shared axiom: when there is enough energy, the body can thrive.
In functional and biochemical terms, this means cellular energy – the driver of life itself: a robust antioxidant system, resilient mitochondria, and stable nervous and immune responses. In energy arts, the same principle appears on a higher octave: sufficient vital energy brings coherence and subtle organizing force to the physical body. These are not separate worlds. They are deeply intertwined. Focusing on one layer while neglecting the other is rarely optimal. Moreover, beyond these foundations, emotional, mental, and higher aspects also play critical roles – especially when the nervous system is dysregulated.
That’s where my work comes in.
I focus on restoring the physical foundations first, while offering practical, individually fine-tuned pathways to support the other layers of the system – in ways that hold up under real-life conditions, not just theory.
My path and my trainings
I’m one of those people who didn’t choose the path of a healer – it chose me.
Despite being born into a family of doctors, my early life went in very different directions. I spent my youth immersed in DIY music scenes, festivals, studio work, artist communities, and grassroots experiments in “horizontal democracy”. I organized gigs, lived inside practical utopias, worked as a freelance translator – and kept pushing forward, until I hit bottom.
Eventually, I broke. Not just physically, but across multiple layers of my being – body, nervous system, psyche, direction. The physical collapse was simply the loudest signal.
At first, what I felt was a calling toward a spiritual path – or, more accurately, a spiritual ego trip. Necessary friction followed. Small deaths. Disillusionments. Reality checks.
From there, the groundwork began: I embarked the herbal medicine path to deal with tick-borne stealth infections. Then I ran into the elephant in the room – over twenty years of mercury amalgam exposure. Heavy metal detox studies and explorations and practical work followed. From there, the trail led into hidden nutrient deficiencies, mitochondrial dysfunction, genetics, and regulatory bottlenecks – each layer revealing the next.
Along the way, I tripped plenty: lack of knowledge, dogmatic thinking, fear of death, healthism, overconfidence, blind spots… The inevitable part of a real education.
What came out of it: my background
10+ years of biohacking & functional nutrition studies
Formal health coaching coursework through institutions like Kresser Institute and Metabolic Fitness, combined with more than a decade of deep self-study, experimentation, and real-world application.
10+ years of herbalism, with a focus on tick-borne illness & immune regulation
Training and fieldwork influenced by Michael Moore, David Crow, and the School of Evolutionary Herbalism. Long-term moderator of a 4,000+ member Latvian Lyme disease support group.
Translator of Healing Lyme Naturally by Stephen Buhner into Latvian, actively involved in its publication.
10+ years exploring frequency medicine & subtle diagnostic methods
Hands-on, grounded work with Rife technology, scalar systems (I own Spooky2 setups), French vibrational radiesthesia, Cymatics and sound-based approaches, Biogeometry, NLS bioresonance devices (Metapathia / Hunter), and A.R.T. testing.
15+ years of self-regulation, trauma, and nervous system work
Including Deep PEAT, Quantum Light Breath, TRE, Reichian breathwork and de-armoring, DNRS, and related modalities.
15+ years of energy arts and subtle disciplines
Long-term Qigong practice, Clairvision studies, Bardon’s Hermetic system, explorations of Rudolf Steiner’s legacy – and more than can reasonably fit on one page.
The synthesis
I don’t practice everything I’ve studied. I’ve distilled it. Over time, I’ve filtered out what turned out to be theoretical, performative, or placebo-driven – and kept what consistently produces usable signals, real leverage, and durable change under real-life conditions.
This synthesis is what I bring to my work today: a grounded, systems-based approach that helps navigate the wild west of alternative health – separating signal from noise and using tools that actually move the needle. My full workflow is described here.
